Boudoir photoshoots are an exciting and empowering experience, but it's totally natural to feel a little unsure about what to bring. While I offer a wide variety of wardrobe options in-studio at Zara Ashby Photography, including lingerie, robes, and accessories, here are a couple of my go-to suggestions for things to bring along.
1. A Large Sweater
You can never go wrong with a large sweater. Whether it's off-the-shoulder or draped seductively over your shoulders, a large sweater can create a soft and sensual look that's perfect for capturing those intimate moments.
2. A Bodysuit
I love bodysuits because they look good on everyone! A bodysuit offers sleek lines and versatility, allowing you to showcase your curves with elegance and sophistication.
3. A Two-Piece lingerie Set
There is a world of beautiful two piece options out there, you just have to find one that speaks to you! A classic two-piece lingerie set adds a touch of allure and sensuality, empowering you to express your unique style and personality.
4. A Simple Button Down Shirt
The beauty is in the simplicity with this one! I typically recommend sticking to solid colors and usually recommend going for a solid white color but really any solid color will do. A button-down shirt provides a playful and casual vibe, allowing for creative layering and revealing glimpses of skin.
5. A Robe
Nobody ever talks about this one, but it's one of my favorites! Robes are great because they offer a timeless and sensual look, perfect for effortless glamor shots or relaxed poses.
Remember, the most important thing is to choose outfits that make you feel confident, comfortable, and empowered. As a dedicated boudoir photographer in the Denver and Parker area, I go out of my way to ensure I create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where you can embrace your beauty and express your sensuality.
